We are excited to invite LA-based dance artists to apply to participate in this choreographic laboratory and performance.

 
CO/lab is a dance-making workshop and performance opportunity rooted in the spirit of collaborative movement investigation and co-creation. Directors Rebecca Lemme and Kevin Williamson are interested in facilitating an experiment with artists interested in honing both creative and performance skills. Rooted in vocab-building, state-play, partnering, improvisation, and text, this two week laboratory will culminate in a public performance of the group’s shared ideas and inquiry. Performing participants will simultaneously be “in-process” while nurturing their own thematic desires and motifs for future choreographic endeavors of their own devising. Together, we will develop a new experimental work, while expanding our compositional tool-kit, qualitative performance techniques, and skills toward collective producing.
